World Unite.
Premier EP fait main, tiré à 14 exemplaires, £50 chacun. Le groupe se fait appeler WU-LYF, acronyme pour World Unite - Lucifer Youth Foundation. Tous viennent de Manchester, ont moins de 20 ans au compteur et refusent (pour l'instant) les propositions juteuses des labels qui les approchent. Mais ce qu'il faut retenir, c'est l'ovni qui plane, la force qui se dégage des morceaux littéralement hurlés par le chanteur, la rébellion du collectif, le vacarme mélodique proche de Godspeed You! Black Emperor. "Heavy Pop", "Concrete Gold" & ce nouveau morceau "Spitting It Concrete Like The Golden Sun God" créent une poche béante dans laquelle tous les groupes - et les esprits - devraient s'enfoncer.

What to remember: the musical UFO, the strength that thrives from the songs litteraly howled by the singer, the mystical rebellion, the melodical racket that could be compared to Godspeed You! Black Emperor. "Heavy Pop, "Concrete Gold" & this new track "Spitting It Concrete Like The Golden Sun God" create this huge gap in which all bands - and minds - should fall into.
